Veyrathi - Plant Register Naars
Purpose
This module collects a large Veyrath plant vocabulary for Naar. It combines everyday family and species names with the Saithan botanical taxonomy from Saithan - Botanical Taxonomy and Plant Systematics.
Status of this version:
- 40 Veyrathian plant families
- 320 named plant forms as key species, cultivated forms or regional varieties
- Focus on mat biomes, aquatic plants, fungal-plant symbioses, wet forests and marginal forms of Naar
Guiding principles
- The names remain Veyrathish, suitable for everyday use and trading, even if they refer to Saithan specialist classification.
- Compounds are right-headed: the last term names the basic form, the first term specifies color, habitat, material or function.
- The register does not follow terrestrial botany, but Naar's biosphere logic: water, moisture, storage tissue, symbiosis and cyclical productivity are more important than wood hardness or dryland adaptation.
- Many names are simultaneously useful for agriculture, forestry, coastal harvesting, fragrance science and medicinal raw materials.

Read logic of the register
Each family is governed by their Saithian class and order. The key species are Veyrathic names for typical lines, cultural forms or stable regional interpretations. They can appear in in-universe texts as species, subspecies, commercial forms or breeding lines.

Regional plant lists
Open coasts and surf edges
These plants characterize the salty seams of rock, mud, tidal channel and surf niche. They have to withstand wind, splashing water, salt films and periodic flooding.
| Veyrathi | German work glosses | Plant description |

Inland seas, lagoons and brackish basins
Calm shallow waters, mud banks and semi-enclosed bodies of water dominate here. Many species are translucent, floating or attuned to subtle variations in salt.
