Veyrathi - Naars fauna register
Purpose
This module collects the Veyrathian animal vocabulary for Naar. It lists everyday animal names, typical name building blocks and concrete example species for coasts, swamps, shallow water, wet forests and edge zones.
Status of this version:
- 8 productive animal base forms
- 28 elaborate animal names
- Focus on wading and mud fauna, swimmers, shoals, gliders, grazers and predators of Naar
Guiding principles
- The names remain veyrathic, manageable and usable for everyday life, hunting, animal husbandry and trade.
- Compounds are right-headed: The last term names the animal shape, the first term describes color, habitat, food, substance or behavior.
- Habitat members such as
feyan, norel, senel, noren, doren, meral, selun and varun remain highly productive. - Material and functional links such as
bulor, sirath, pethan, sulen, melin, virim, halim, thunim, tovim or silim specify protective film, glow, nutrition, fruit binding or coloring.
