Ur-Veyatic - examples

Note on style effect

• Unmarked narrative speech can show early verb.
• Older table, council and oath languages often prefer the object or frame before the verb.
• The examples deliberately keep the language old and stubborn, not modern-national.

1. Nu veyar. I speak.
2. Aer thalar draes. The council is strong.
3. Aer drun na nau torim. My house is open.
4. Nora aur kevar ta nela navar. The Enor gives the Enel that contract.
5. Aur toren nu seyaran. I saw the gate.
6. Vena se noi veyar, nu kai sherrar. If the person doesn't speak, I would ask.
7. Sena sha nu ta verun talar. Today I will go to the port.
8. Aer kevar ya nora werar zorin isar. The contract that the Enor writes is valid.
9. Zeya aur veyarat; draes aer enari. That speech is new; the people are strong.
10. Aur feyan aer enari jorar. That sea binds the people.
