Saithanic - root register

Purpose

This register controls the major expansion of Saithan into scientific, archive and technical language. It is not a replacement for 03_Lexikon.md, but the productive control document for new terms in physics, chemistry, biology and related disciplines.

This starting version contains 71 scientifically productive roots. 9 explicit forms are noted per root:

  • the bare root
  • three leading forms
  • five forms of technology

Calculation basis:

  • 71 roots x 9 forms = 639 explicitly noted specialist forms
  • together with the 79 core lexemes from 03_Lexikon.md = at least 718 documented Saithan forms

Status key

  • Kern = central root of the Saithan scholarly language
  • System = preferred root for methodological or technical training
  • Fach = strongly domain-bound root for a specific scientific field

Work rules

  • New technical terms should first be formed from existing roots and standard suffixes.
  • Before a new root is created, it must be checked whether -eth, -aith, -or, -in, -um, -akh, -ir or -ein fit an existing root.
  • Particularly preferred are two-part composites made of Fachwurzel + Methodwurzel, such as grathkaiveth, solkdraukakh or kelneirnakh.
  • Heavier clusters may be retained in scientific registries; Saithanic smooths specialized forms significantly less than the Veyatic languages.

This register now provides a systematic basis for:

  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Biology
  • Botany
  • related areas such as mathematics, modeling, archiving and scientific methodology

The next sensible expansion phase would be:

  • concrete series of elements and substances within chemistry
  • Organ and tissue series for Enari-specific anatomy
  • standardized instrument names based on -akh and compounds with kaiv-, eirn-, drauk- and mnor-
