Veytharian Crown - survey and court regulations
The ruling circle
Not every Enis is even eligible for the crown. Only a small group of people who are already considered capable of leading the empire through training, service and public discipline are eligible for the crown.
Typical requirements are:
- long political or administrative training
- Management experience in court, provincial administration, law or crisis supervision
- ritual training in audience, oath and survey forms
- flawless or nearly flawless public discipline
- legible voice, posture and physical presence for representative appearances
- Demonstrated ability to make controlled, non-impulsive decisions
Lineage can create prestige, but not automatic entitlement. This is precisely where the crown differs from a dynastic hereditary monarchy.
Institutional confirmation
The selection remains exclusive, but is not private. Several institutions must confirm suitability.
| Committee | Typical composition | Task |
|---|---|---|
vezeth-thal | high-ranking Enis as well as selected Enath and Enel officials | tests rank ability, legal knowledge, administrative experience and symbolic suitability |
| Senior Councilor of Enor | supreme military leadership, border commands, guard supervision | confirms suitability for crises, ability to command and acceptance in the armed apparatus |
| Court and Temple Quorums | vezeth-drun, ritual houses, orven archives and large traditional sites | confirm the legality, continuity and correct execution of the survey |
This tripartite division prevents two extremes at the same time: purely internal court intrigue and a simple electoral process based on the republican model.
The survey
The path to the crown usually follows a fixed sequence.
- A few names from the ruling circle are chosen for closer examination.
- The
vezeth-thalcarries out interrogations, register reviews and suitability tests. - The High Council of Enor and the Court and Temple Colleges confirm or reject the remaining candidacies.
- In
vezeth-yemeth, the public survey takes place withvezeth-kevar, investiture and handover of the official insignia. - Only after this completion is the person no longer just considered suitable, but rather the real crown.
The difference between selection and survey is important. The vezar is not simply elected like a president, but is elevated to office through an act that is highly condensed by state ritual.
Term of office and removal
The crown is generally designed to last a lifetime or for a very long time. Stability arises precisely because the empire is not constantly competing for leadership.
Dismissal remains possible, but is extremely rare. It usually requires:
- serious misconduct that can no longer be publicly tolerated
- permanent inability to carry out office
- blatant failure in duties of rank, protection or crisis
- a joint decision by several crown bodies instead of a single power grab
The court as an official apparatus
The farm or vezeth-drun is not a family household, but the institutional shell of the crown. It includes:
wereth-drunlaw firms for decrees, registers, diplomacy and appointmentssoveth-drunandthereth-drunhouses for complaints, ranking disputes and final decisions- Ritual colleges for oaths, elevations and state ceremonies
garethand guard devices with strong Enor embossing- Storage, supply and service networks that support the farm as a permanent state machine
It is precisely this separation of person and apparatus that makes the Veythar Crown functional. Even an extremely present monarch never rules alone, but always through an already formed architecture of roles.
