Short profile
The Veythar Crown is a traditional state system in which an Enis serves as the personified head of the empire. In High Veythar, the form of government can be referred to as Veythar-naar vezeth-joreth, i.e. the Veythar heartland of the crown order. The ruler is not determined by descent in the human sense, but is chosen from a small, strictly filtered circle of suitable Enis. The Crown or vezeth is not a private property, but a lifelong or very long office with real power, ritualized dignity and clearly defined state functions.
The monarchy thus remains monarchical, enarian and functional at the same time. She has a court center, a single crown and a high visibility tip without relying on father-mother-child lines. At the same time, it is not a city state, but rather a monarchical territorial state and great power association with heartland, core provinces, brands, threshold areas and imperially influenced outer areas. Their idea of legitimation is not simply that Enis are rare, but that the five-member society of the empire can only be visibly bundled in a properly organized leadership.
Conceptually, the system consciously distinguishes between vezar as the current ruler, vezeth as an office, vezeth-yemeth as the seat of the throne or office, vezeth-joreth as the entire crown order and the crown empire as the concrete territorial state that this order supports.
Canon in short form
- The Veythar Crown is a caste- and office-based monarchy with a single crown bearer at the top.
- Only Enis from an exclusive, institutionally tested circle of suitability are eligible for crown recognition.
- Succession is not dynastically hereditary, but is tied to selection, confirmation and ritual elevation.
- The
vezethembodies supreme arbitration, final decision on constitutional, rank and military issues as well as the appointment of central officials. - Day-to-day administration lies with
wereth-drunchanceries,nivarand provincial bodies, garethand ritual institutions and not with a private ruling family. - The empire of the Veythar Crown is not just a city state, but a hierarchical large and territorial state with graduated territorial integration.
- Not all spaces are equally integrated: heartland, core provinces, brands, threshold spaces and outdoor spaces follow different levels of connection.
- The Crown names its large areas with its own room types such as
vezeth-ireth,koren-naar,selar-naar,mureth-naarandmoran-naarinstead of with earthly provincial or noble titles. - In crises, the direct power of the crown increases significantly without the state becoming a mere military dictatorship.
- Ideologically, the Crown sees itself as a concentrated voice of order and thus as a conscious counterpoint to the broader participatory Veyrath Republic.
